The HPI Institute (formerly called Mindware systems) and it was consider the first institute specialized in the promotion of e-learning. The Institute opened the first electronic training center in Bahrain in cooperation with the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial in the year 2000.

مؤسسة تطوير الأداء البشري تنظم الاتجاهات الحديثة في عقود المناقصات

نظمت مؤسسة تطوير الأداء البشري برنامجا تدريبيا عن «الإتجاهات الحديثة في عقود المناقصات وأساليب تقييم العقود» وذلك بفندق كراون بلازا.  حضر البرنامج مجموعة من المتدربين من وزارة شئون البلديات والزراعة والهيئة العامة للتأمين الإجتماعي، والجهاز المركزي للمعلومات ووزارة المالية وشركة الخليج للإستثمار الصناعي والتيتون للمقاولات ومجلس المناقصات.

يذكر أن الدورة التي قدمها جورج تهدف إلى تعريف المناقصة وأنواعها، أطراف المناقصة، إجراءات إعداد المناقصة، إرساء المناقصة وإبرام العقد، حقوق الإدارة قبل المتعاقد، حقوق المتعاقد قبل الإدارة، أثر التغيرات التي تطرأ على الشكل القانوني للمتعاقد أو ممثله القانوني أثناء تنفيذ المناقصة، أثر الحجز على المتعاقد أثناء تنفيذ المناقصة، أثر اتفاقية منظمة التجارة العالمية (WTO) على المناقصات، الجوانب المالية في عقود المناقصة، وسائل الدفع في عقود المناقصات، الأساليب البديلة للمناقصة في تعاقد الإدارة ووسائل فض المنازعات في عقود المناقصة.
